The natural world is nature’s playground for us to play, discover, build, learn and grow, and to pass on what we have learned.

Discovery with understanding is intensely joyful, whatever in the material, intellectual and social world is to be explored.  If the activity of education is not found to be joyful, we are missing the point.  Future happiness depends on the qualities of our educational experience.

Educational evolution is an extension of this first principle
